Prayer is a very valuable tool. Many people say that
prayer is a load of rubbish, but I say that it is key. When I pray, my prayers
go straight into the invisible where they are caught in a prayer net.
When people talk about spirituality, some mean the xyz of spirituality and others mean the abc of spirituality. Those who see themselves as spiritual people still might find it hard to discuss spirituality openly. Yet there is an increasing demand to include the topic of spirituality in mainstream conferences.
Self-development is silly. One can develop oneself and call it self-development or one can run courses in self-development. I think that my stress management courses contain a good chunk of self-development.

His life style was just as it was in the days of Jesus of Nazareth. He, himself, was Moslem but he knew the stories of Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus might have lived close by in Nazareth.
Ghislaine preferred Jesus the man to just Jesus. She feels that Jews who visit the site will relate better to Jesus the man, rather than Jesus or Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus was a man and has been called the son of man – Jesus the man.
Yvonne Trubert is an extraordinary woman who grew up in the South of France. We call on Yvonne Trubert whenever we are in trouble. She was married to Mr Trubert, who died some years ago. The name of Yvonne Trubert is being immortalised in the current transcripts of her tapes.
In Cowsra, we saw some wonderful examples of reconciliation. This, unlike reconciliation between Ozzies and Aboriginals, was between Japanese and Australians. Our prime minister will not have a bar of reconciliation and has done a great deal of harm to the possibility of reconciliation with the Australian Aboriginal people. I would welcome with all my heart such reconciliation in my country.
Christian philosophy is presented in many and varied ways. The philosophy of Christians has changed greatly over the centuries but the basic message is always the same, no matter how many books on Christian philosophy you read. I hope that this section on Christian philosophy is long enough.

My health and well-being is synonymous with your health and well-being. These concepts are difficult to measure, but there is an increasing number of journals on health and well being. In fact, there is a journal titled “Health and Well being”.
How about hands on healing? My introduction to hands on healing was in Cros in the south of France. Many people were sceptical of hands on healing, but found that they could do it, with Yvonne’s help. The energy of hands on healing techniques is the ch’I energy of acupuncture.

The rosary has five decades in one chaplet and the full rosary prayer consists of fifteen decades, or three chaplets. I love my rosary beads, whether plastic, wooden or glass. I have forgotten to bring a rosary on this trip and I will have to go to St Marys Cathedral tomorrow where they have a shop with a great selection of rosaries. Catholic people are of ten very put off by the rosary.
There are many interpretations of divinity. Schizophrenics often believe they are divine and men of divinity have been pederasts. The vows of divinity are meant to take one closer to the divine. To me, divinity is a concrete concept.
Now, how would we survive without our prayer groups. Many churches have prayer groups and prayer groups have evolved into IVI centres. In order to become a member of IVI, it it necessary to join a prayer group and meet to pray every week. My original prayer group is called Star of Bethlehem.
Many self help books have been written on psychology, but the idea of self help is often referred to as pop psychology. The idea of self help is very fashionable today. Cats and dogs give self help to each other and so do sheep. I have written a book on self help in the menopause.
Harmony is a musical expression. People need harmony in their lives and work. I am getting too tired to think much more about harmony so I will go to sleep to obtain some internal harmony.
Invitation to life is an international spiritual movement. It is rare to see international spiritual movements in over 73 different countries. IVI Australia pays its dues to IVI International which can be defined as an international spiritual movement. This may be akin to other spiritual movements which are also international.
IVI is, by definition, a sect. Sect means a break-away movement from an established religion. A sect is not a cult. The latter is inward looking, separates people from their families, accumulates money, usually mostly for their charismatic leader. The sect of IVI does none of these things, but it does follow the teachings of Christ.
How does one have faith? Faith is an ephemeric concept which is difficult to define. People have faith in God, faith in money and faith in each other. People lose faith in others when they are betrayed.
Oh my God. God is dog spelled backwards and all dogs are created by God. Jesus taught us to call God our father, because God loves us like a father.
Human energy fields have been recognised in eastern medicine for many thousands of years. The concept of a human energy field is relatively new to western medicine, but a field of research into human energy fields is now well established. Harmonisation is a procedure that balances the human energy field.
Harmonisation is a hands on technique. Some people have called harmonisation a healing technique but we prefer to call it simply harmonisation. It is not to be confused with harmonisation of commercial factors.

Touch therapy varies from massage to harmonisation but qigong is not a touch therapy because the therapist’s hands do not touch the patient. Conventional medicine is not enamoured of touch therapies, but complementary therapists use touch therapy a lot.
The science of prayer is a growing field of endeavour. The dead sea scrolls talk of the science of prayer, so it is certainly not new. Scientists are interested in the effects of prayer to the extent that the science of prayer is increasingly recognised.
Science and spirituality do not seem to go together.
But quantum physicists are open to pairing science and spirituality. I like
the idea of using science to explore spirituality and there is now a lot of
hard data to connect science and spirituality together. Soon there will be
journals devoted just to science and spirituality.
